WafflioTerms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Wafflio. By creating an account you accept them.
Wafflio is operated by [COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS].
What Wafflio does
Wafflio helps restaurants make and publish social media content. You upload photos or video and describe what you want; Wafflio generates captions, images and short videos, helps you plan when to post them, and can publish them to the social accounts you connect.
Your account
You need an account to use Wafflio. Keep your password and login codes to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@wafflio.com if you think someone else has access.
You must be 18 or over and acting for a business.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything Wafflio generates for you. You are free to use it commercially, including on your own social media channels.
You give us permission to store and process your uploads only so far as we need to in order to run the service for you, including publishing the posts you confirm.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload anything you do not own or have permission to use, anything unlawful, or anything containing people who have not agreed to appear.
AI-generated content
Captions, images and videos are produced by AI. That means:
- Check it before you confirm it. Output can be wrong, odd, or not match what you asked for.
- You are responsible for what you post. Claims about your food, prices, offers, allergens or opening times are yours, not ours.
- Similar output may be generated for others. We cannot promise your generated content is unique.
- Discounts and offers you enter are carried into captions as you typed them. Check them.
Publishing to your social accounts
If you connect an Instagram account or a Facebook Page, Wafflio publishes only posts you have confirmed, at the time you chose. You can disconnect an account at any time in the app.
Publishing depends on Instagram and Facebook. If they reject or delay a post, Wafflio will tell you and you can share it yourself. For TikTok, WhatsApp and Google Business, Wafflio prepares the content and you post it.
Your use of Instagram and Facebook is also subject to Meta’s own terms.
Music
Music in the Wafflio library is licensed for commercial use under Creative Commons licences that require crediting the artist. Wafflio adds that credit to your caption automatically — please don’t remove it.
No guaranteed results
Wafflio does not guarantee any business result. Nothing in the app is a promise of more customers, more sales or more followers.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe.
- Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
- We do not give pro-rata refunds for a partial period unless the law requires it.
- If a payment fails we may suspend generation features until it succeeds.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice.
Plans include limits, such as the number of AI renders and AI images per calendar month. These are shown in the app and may change with notice.
Acceptable use
Do not use Wafflio to create content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, deceptive, sexually explicit, or that impersonates someone else. Do not try to break into the service, overload it, or work around plan limits.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
Availability
We aim to keep Wafflio running but do not promise it will always be available. Rendering and publishing depend on third-party services and can be delayed or fail. We may change or remove features.
Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Delete account). We may close your account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and will tell you why where we can.
Our liability
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Otherwise, and because Wafflio is a business service:
- We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost goodwill, or for any loss arising from content you chose to publish.
- Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Changes
We may update these terms. For significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Wafflio after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
